Random shittiness

What's up bitches. Just had some random news floating around so I thought I'd spew it all out here at the same time. When I looked back over it, I realized that every band included blows...bad. Oh well, it's better than working or listening to your professor explain covalent bonds.

- Lucky Boys Confusion has announced they're going on 'indefinite hiatus'. I don't know if anyone cares. The only good song they ever had was 'Fred Astaire' and that was 5 years ago. Also, just an FYI, but blink is on 'indefinite hiatus'. So is Sleater-Kinney. You do the math...

- Goldfinger has signed a new record deal with SideOneDummy. Apparently this label will only sign washed-up punk bands that everyone loved 10 years ago. Have fun with MxPx and Slick Shoes.

- Norma Jean sold 21,334 copies in their first week, which is about 20,000 more than anyone expected. Pretty good for an album that features Cookie Monster singing about God.

And your final treat for today is a Comeback Kid video for 'Wake the Dead'. Bad music with zombies hardcore dancing. No commentary necessary, just realize that if you actually do this at a show, EVERYONE IS MAKING FUN OF YOU.

Out.
